Section 01

Introduction

HowlMetrics is a channel analytics service made by Wolf Pak Strategies LLC ("we", "our" or "us"), Spring Hill, Florida, USA. This policy explains what information we collect through the HowlMetrics website (howlmetrics.com) and the HowlMetrics service, how we use it and the choices you have.

Wolf Pak Strategies operates under its own Privacy Protection Constitution: your data belongs to you, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.

Information We Collect

On this website

This website uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use that data to identify you.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and use it only to reply.

When you connect a channel

With your permission, HowlMetrics reads data about the channel you connect (see the YouTube API Services section below). We also keep the email address of your HowlMetrics account.

Section 03

YouTube API Services

HowlMetrics uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What HowlMetrics accesses

• Read-only access to your channel's public information: channel name, subscriber count, video titles, upload dates, durations, privacy status and playlists (youtube.readonly).
• Read-only access to your channel's YouTube Analytics reports: views, watch time, traffic sources, countries and similar statistics (yt-analytics.readonly).
• HowlMetrics cannot upload, edit or delete anything on your channel.

How it is used

• Only to build your HowlMetrics reports and meters, shown to you.
• Never sold, never shared with advertisers or data brokers, never used for advertising.
• We do not collect data about your viewers as individuals; YouTube Analytics reports are aggregated statistics.

Storage and retention

• Access tokens are kept in an encrypted secrets vault and are never shared.
• YouTube data is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days, as YouTube's policies require.

Revoking access and deleting data

You can revoke HowlMetrics' access at any time in your Google security settings. When access is revoked, or when you ask us by emailing info@howlmetrics.com, we delete the data obtained through YouTube API Services within 7 days.

Section 04

Google API Services User Data Policy

HowlMetrics' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Section 05

Other Platforms

When HowlMetrics adds other platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok or Rumble), it will connect only through each platform's official, creator-approved access, read only the statistics needed for your reports, and follow that platform's data rules. Each platform's data is shown side by side and never blended into combined totals. This policy will be updated to list exactly what each new connection reads before it is offered.

AI Opinions

If HowlMetrics offers AI opinions on titles or thumbnails, those opinions are always labeled as opinions. To produce them, the title text or thumbnail image is sent to our AI provider under terms that do not allow it to train its models on that data. Your channel statistics are not sent for this purpose.

Section 07

Service Providers

We use a small number of providers to run HowlMetrics, each only for the purpose listed: Amazon Web Services (hosting and encrypted secrets storage), Cloudflare (website delivery, security and email routing) and Resend (sending email). They process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Section 08

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access tokens are encrypted at rest in a secrets vault. Access to systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you within 72 hours of discovering it, in plain language, with what was exposed and what we are doing about it.

Section 09

Your Rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it or delete it. We answer within 30 days. Deleting your account is never harder than creating it. Email info@howlmetrics.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union) you may have additional rights under local law, and we honor them.

Section 10

Children's Privacy

HowlMetrics is for channel owners aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Section 11

Changes to This Policy

If we make a material change to how we handle data, we will update this page, change the date above and give existing users at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect.
